Veneers, thin shells that cover the front of teeth, are responsible for some of the most dramatic smile transformations on the web. However, improving your smile with veneers doesn’t have to mean completely altering your look. When you want to hide imperfections on just a few front teeth, we can use veneers to improve them as well. At the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, we can perform simple, subtle porcelain veneer transformations in as little as one day, thanks to our CEREC machine.
One of the best examples of this approach is treating peg lateral incisors, where just one or two veneers can dramatically improve smile symmetry without changing the rest of the smile.
What Are Front Teeth Veneers?
Front teeth veneers aren’t a different type of veneer. The term simply refers to placing veneers on one or a few visible front teeth rather than transforming an entire smile. If you want a subtle change to your smile, front teeth veneers could be the way to go. Instead of treating the entire smile, our doctors can treat just a few teeth in the smile line. Some reasons we might do veneers on just a few front teeth include:
- Chips or fractures on a few teeth
- Stubborn discoloration
- Uneven shape, size, or length
- Minor misalignments on a few teeth
The bottom line is simple. We don’t need to start from scratch to provide a smile makeover. Sometimes, a little improvement goes a long way. We can do straightforward, targeted work on just the teeth that bother you most, without changing anything about the smile you already love.
Same-Day Porcelain Veneers Process
Porcelain veneers offer a more lasting solution, made of high-quality ceramic that delivers a natural, translucent sheen similar to genuine enamel. This type of veneer generally lasts around 15 years and holds its appearance over time. We tend to choose porcelain for its cosmetic benefits and durability. Moreover, we have the added advantage of using our CEREC machine to mill custom porcelain veneers and crowns on demand.
At our practice, the process to place porcelain veneers is quite simple. This makes one-visit smile transformations possible.
First, we remove a very thin layer of enamel from the front surfaces of the teeth we want to improve.
Then we use our CEREC machine to produce the custom porcelain veneer on the same day we prepare the tooth. Finally, we bond the veneer to match the remaining teeth in your smile line, creating a subtle, simple enhancement.
Front Teeth Veneers: Real Patient Case Study

The patient featured below had peg lateral incisors, a condition we like to correct with front teeth veneers. These are teeth that develop smaller than normal, often narrower and more pointed than the surrounding teeth. They sit right beside the two front teeth, making them highly visible and can affect the overall symmetry of your smile.
The patient was a teenage girl who had just gotten her braces taken off. She wanted to complete her smile transformation. Because the rest of her smile already had excellent alignment and color after orthodontic treatment, we improved just the two undersized teeth.
We placed two conservative porcelain veneers on her peg lateral incisors in a single appointment. The veneers were custom-crafted to match the shade and proportions of her surrounding teeth. It brought her smile into full, natural-looking symmetry for the first time.
The result went beyond cosmetics. After years of orthodontic work and a lifetime with undersized teeth, she left with a smile that finally felt complete and the confidence to show it off.
