Porcelain veneers are thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of the teeth. They improve color and shape while concealing surface imperfections such as chips, fractures, and wear from grinding or erosion. With proper care, veneers can last 10 to 15 years or even longer.

The process to place veneers is straightforward, and we’ve refined our technique over decades of practice. First, we shave down some healthy enamel to make room for each veneer. Then, we take impressions of the teeth and bond a temporary veneer while you wait for the permanent ones to be produced in a lab. In a few weeks, we’ll bond the custom-crafted veneers to the outer surfaces of the teeth. The result is a natural-looking improvement that enhances your smile.

That’s exactly what we were able to do for one patient. She had two congenitally missing maxillary incisors, meaning she was born without them.

We restored her smile using a trusted approach. First, we placed two mini dental implants using a minimally invasive technique. Then, we custom-crafted crowns that matched the rest of her teeth and secured them to the implants. Finally, the patient was able to grin and chew with a complete, fully functional set of teeth for the first time in her life!
